When you convert a layer into a smart object, you're putting it into a protective package - so you can warp or distort it anyway you want, without hurting the original image. (Nathan Smith, Lesson 5, Smart Objects) This image was created with Smart object tool on Photoshop. My objective was to have the sunflower be the main object. Therefore, I cropped the image to get rid of an old barn and got rid of some old telephone wires. The sunflower is the contrast with it's bright yellow color, the greenery is the repetition. I brought the flower close to the front for proximity, and aligned it in the center of the page. Then I added the title onto the leaf of the flower. Whenever I see a Sunflower it makes me happy (that is what the texts says, if you cannot read it).
